Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub

Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub

I'm not always completely on board when it comes to Lush products. Some of them smell really funky or the names just put me off using them. (Note, the bath bombs look super cute!). I had read a lot about the Ocean Salt scrub, mainly how cooling it is and I noticed how larger the scrub particles are. I was on board! Let's see how it turned out! I think there are two types of this product, one is the Ocean Salt body scrub which comes in a larger tub and the other…Read more
Bath & Body Works White Citrus Body Lotion

Bath & Body Works White Citrus Body Lotion

With winter here, I'm in more of a mood to review skincare products. Well, let's start with good old moisturizer! After using up Moonlight Path (Triple Moisture), I wanted something lighter and a completely different fragrance. I opted for the Bath & Body Works body lotion in White Citrus. It's main ingredients are Shea Butter, fast absorbing Jojoba Oil and protective Vitamin E (the adjectives are what they claim! ) The smell is just amazing and very summery. It's a refined citrus and meadows smell. It's not fruity, but more floral and lemony. According…Read more

Forest Essentials Body Lotion

I don't quite remember where I got this. But it's tiny and effective. I used it on the go when I needed a moisturizer. It has a lovely aloe vera fragrance which isn't overly strong. It isn't the most hydrating cream in the market but it stays on well for 5-6 hours I guess. It's cream in colour and gel like in consistency. It feels quite cool when you apply it as well. Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Triple Moisture Body Cream

I wish bath and Body works was in India. The Body Shop needs some competition! That said, I love their products and fragrances. I will describe more in detail below but the consistency and staying power of their moistuizers and body lotions is why I like them best. I've found that it precisely does what I need for my skin. So I product I'm reviewing is from the Moonlight Path range. It's the Triple Moisture Body Cream. The cream itself is extremely soft and almost like an emulsion. It gets a lotion form…Read more
The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub

The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Scrub

The Body Shop has its hits and misses when it comes to products. The Cocoa Butter Body Scrub is definitely a keeper. It was one of my first Body Shop purchases and it has a permanent place in my routine. I use it once every other week and its helped exfoliate my very dry and flaky skin. The consistency of the cream is soft and buttery. The cream leaves the skin feeling moisturised and soft, not oily at all. The particles are coarse and not too harsh. I guess it depends on how strongly…Read more
