Best of Makeup 2014!

Best of Makeup 2014!

Hope everyone had lovely holidays! I think half my classmates got married just this weekend. I'm a very passive facebook user, logged in after a long time and the wedding photos were overwhelming! It was lovely though. :) Time to get teary eyed about all my favourites this year now! It took a long time to create this post, mainly because I went through my entire collection to pick things out. Ended up with 30 lipsticks that I narrowed down to around 10. Emotional heart-breaking decisions all over the place! I'm also positive that I've missed out…Read more
Butter London Nail Polish in No More Waity Kaity

Butter London Nail Polish in No More Waity Kaity

Mid-week crisis is upon me and I'm lagging behind with my posts. I'm hoping things will stabilize but next weekend and I'll be ahead of the curve rather than desperately trying to keep up with my schedule. A very odd nail polish colour for you here. Might not be everyone's favourite but it's certainly unique! Butter London No More Waity Kaity has the unusual combination of lilac glitter in a grey creme base. Yes, that exactly. The formula isn't very opaque as I hoped it would be. It takes 3-4 sheer coats to…Read more

October 2014 Favourites

Time for the monthly favourites. I've had such a crazy Monday, I just want to talk about makeup! A  bunch of things I've been using for the last 2-3 months and some are more recent favourites. So here goes!   01. Lorac Pro Palette :: So I finally got this a few months back and it's pretty much replaced my UD Naked palette. I love the colours! Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Okay. Stop reading this, scroll down and look at the pictures, then come back up. Amazing right? It's just so SO darn pretty! My love for Butter London polishes grew exponentially after applying this polish. Rosie Lee is a glitter polish in a deep rose coppery gold colour and metallic. The glitter is small in size and very dense in a clear base. One layer is sheer but you get opaque coverage with 2-3 coats. The layers are thin in consistency so they also dry quickly. This is how all glitter polishes should…Read more
Butter London Nail Polish in Toff

Butter London Nail Polish in Toff

A while back I got my hands on a bunch of Butter London nail polishes. They look stunning and so are the formulas. Today I'm reviewing Butter London Toff which is a creme deep plumy brown. There is some dustiness to the shade which gives it a really sophisticated look. I really love the shade; it's also a darker office appropriate neutral. The quality is amazing as well. The creme polish is opaque in one coat, though you might prefer 2 coats depending on how big your nail bed is. The consistency is…Read more

If you asked me what my first love (in makeup) was, it would definitely be nail polishes! Love them! Love changing it up every week as well! Here are my top picks for fall. I've categorized them by trends, so you have your vampy polishes, glitters ones and jewel tones. Hope you find something you like! Vampy 01. Chanel Taboo - Galaxy in a bottle. That says it all! I think what really sets it apart from all the other similar polishes is that bright blue microshimmer. I love this! 02. Zoya Valerie…Read more
