Best Of Makeup 2013

Best Of Makeup 2013

It's almost the end of a year!! Not the most eventful one for me compared to others but in general my life was more settled and I was happier! I also loved blogging all year round and all the travelling I did! Sentiments aside, this post is to celebrate the best stuff I liked using this year! There are a couple from last year that I still use but I thought I'd also talk about newer products I liked!   Bases Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Honey | Mac Face and Body Foundation…Read more
China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint Nail Polish

China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint Nail Polish

Hello people! Around 2-3 years back when the mint nail polish (or mint anything) craze started, Re-Fresh Mint was the first China Glaze I purchased. Re-fresh Mint is a new warm minty colour. The polish is creme and so the formula is wonderful and the very best when it comes to China Glaze. I know a lot of other mint polishes are more blue toned but I wanted a good pastel one. This was my answer. It's not very office appropriate, so I love wearing this on my feet in the summers. This…Read more
China Glaze High Hopes Nail Polish

China Glaze High Hopes Nail Polish

I'm so glad it's the weekend!! I'm working on Saturdays as well and I miss that extra holiday. :/ But there's always blogging and my readers to look forward to on the weekends! Today I'm reviewing a really pretty polish for summers, China Glaze High Hopes. It's from their Up and Away collection. I had bought this along with Lemon Fizz. I really need to wear this more often now! I really love the colour. This is what I call a true coral. But for the most part, it's a coral that veers…Read more

China Glaze Lemon Fizz Nail Polish

China Glaze Lemon Fizz Nail Polish

I was going through a phase last year when I was crazy about bright pastel colours. I don't wear them very often on my hands because I feel it doesn't suit me. But I love lemon yellow for my toes! Not really a winter colour but sometimes I get bored of the dark colours and pop something like this on my toes. China Glaze's Lemon Fizz is one heck of a pretty yellow polish. Yellow is also such a trendy colour this season, I thought I'd better review this! Lemon Fizz is a…Read more
China Glaze Nail Polish in Heaven

China Glaze Nail Polish in Heaven

Sometimes you just need a low lying polish that looks good with anything. Colour wise this is a good choice. China Glaze's Heaven nail polish is pretty sheer off white colour polish. It's a sheer pearl finish polish with white microshimmer. It's a very subtle shine that gives it the pearly appearance. It appears very peachy in the bottle but the end result is milkier in colour. Being a sheer polish, it's a bit runny but it applies very easily without streakiness. China Glazes brushes are narrower than OPI but for this polish the…Read more

China Glaze Strawberry Fields Nail Polish

Been a while since I did a make up post hasn't it? I've been struggling to keep up with the fashion week posts. But more of those to come soon!  But for now, let's focus on this yummy polish! It's a really fun colour for summer if you don't want neon. China Glaze's Strawberry Fields is a gorgeous pink nail polish loaded with gold microshimmer. It looks amazing, I love how the intensity of the shimmer varies depending on light. The pink is like a bright fuschia, it's more blue toned. The gold…Read more

China Glaze Four Leaf Clover

When Mulberry Alexa exploded on the scene, I wanted the watermelon one so badly!! Instead, I bought China Glaze Four Leaf Clover! The colour is a total dupe! And I love it! When it comes to spring colours, I love pastel colour but I don't think they look that good with my skin tone. Instead the slightly darker bright colours suit me more. This is definitely one of them! I have to give you a warning though, the colouring in the photographs is slightly off. I tried with 3 different cameras and all…Read more
