YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch in Luminous Honey

YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch in Luminous Honey

When it comes to concealer, I've rarely strayed from the my power duo (Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach and Mac Moisture Select in NW35). Curiosity and hype got the better of me when I purchased this. YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch in Luminous Honey (5) is a concealer/brightener/highlighter all wrapped up in a pen. I'm going to specifically talk about using this as a concealer. The shade is a little more orange than my skin tone but I figured that would help with colour correction. The other shades were too pink or way off for…Read more
Goa Beauty Essentials

Goa Beauty Essentials

It's time for my annual pilgrimage to Goa. Four days of sun, sand, cheap booze and even cheaper petrol! The weather right now is as pleasant as it can get, it's going to be perfect! Every year we go to a different beach and this time we'll be exploring Morjim and Ashwem. Let me know your favourite Goa haunts! I'm excited! This time I thought I'd put up an 'Essentials' post, also a good excuse to discuss travel minis. I pretty much carry a similar amount of things when I travel there (or anywhere else).…Read more
Best of Makeup 2014!

Best of Makeup 2014!

Hope everyone had lovely holidays! I think half my classmates got married just this weekend. I'm a very passive facebook user, logged in after a long time and the wedding photos were overwhelming! It was lovely though. :) Time to get teary eyed about all my favourites this year now! It took a long time to create this post, mainly because I went through my entire collection to pick things out. Ended up with 30 lipsticks that I narrowed down to around 10. Emotional heart-breaking decisions all over the place! I'm also positive that I've missed out…Read more
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger

I can't live without concealer. I'm not the sort of person that can't go out the door without makeup. I've lived without makeup for most of my life but just adding concealer makes a massive difference to my appearance. That's actually how I started looking into makeup because I wanted to hide my horrendous dark circles. It took me a lot of trial and error to find a combination that really works for me. I have a very pigmented under eye situation with all sorts of colours running through. I also have very deep…Read more
What’s In My Bag : Travel Edition

What’s In My Bag : Travel Edition

On my review posts I'm always talking about how travel friendly products are etc. Since I spent the better half of last month doing just that, I thought I'd do a 'What's in my purse' instead of the usual monthly favorites! Let's dig in! I mainly carried 3 bags. The red one with two transparent sides was for keeping makeup. I kept the products on one side and the brushes on the other. The pink one was also kept in my luggage and it contained skincare stuff, perfume etc. And lastly, the gorgeous…Read more

There are a couple from last year that I still use but I thought I'd also talk about newer products I liked!   Bases Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Honey | Mac Face and Body Foundation…Read more
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach

I love long weekends. It was Saturday yesterday and it just hit me that I have 3 more free days. Feels like a vacation! :) Moving on, today I'll be reviewing this Corrector from Bobbi Brown. I saw a lot of hype about this product and I was looking a corrector cum concealer I could wear under sheer foundations and the like. Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach is a very light yellow based peach colour. It's not your usual orange corrector but it does the job well for me. It's a bit sheer…Read more

Khuraira Age Control Concealer in Light, Medium and Dark

Khuraira Age Control Concealer in Light, Medium and Dark

Hey guys! I'm back from my trip and exhausted but it was so well worth. Each country is beautiful in it's own way but Norway and St. Petersburg were the ones that stood out the most for me. Both are so breathtakingly beautiful. I digress; a while back I reviewed the Khuraira Dark Circle Primer and I'll be reviewing the concealers today. I was sent the only three shades available which are Light, Medium and Dark. All three are yellow based concealers although medium is more neutral and dark is more orange. None of…Read more
