Wishlist : November 2013

It's been a while since I did a wishlist post. I wasn't really holding out for stuff the last few months, a lot of my purchases were a combination of necessity and last minute splurge. My self control fails me sometimes. But since my birthday is in January, there a few things I'm eyeing... Here's the wishlist for November! Let me know what you're coveting this month!     01. Guerlain : Blush : Madame Rougit 4 - Colors (Limited Edition) Eep, so pretty! Clearly, nice packaging is my weakness. This shall remain…Read more
Essie Watermelon Nail Polish

Essie Watermelon Nail Polish

Happy Diwali folks! I hope you all have fun on this long weekend (let's be real, that's the best part)!  There is so much yummy food to eat, it's heaven! ^_^ I'm reviewing Essie Watermelon nail polish today. I'll be honest, my photos do not do justice to this polish. The colour is so beautiful, you really have to see it in person. Essie Watermelon is bright fuchsia red colour. It's like that elusive lipstick which you can never tell if it's more red or pink. A similar dilemma here. I personally think…Read more

Essie Buy Me A Cameo Nail Polish

Essie Buy Me A Cameo Nail Polish

Today I'll be reviewing this lovely nude like colour from Essie called Buy Me A Cameo. If you like wearing nude nails then you might want to try this. I think it's brilliant to wear to office when it's really formal and you don't want anything too bright. The colour is a light peach one with a pearl finish. It can at times look a tad bit rose gold which is what drew me to it first, but it's definitely more peachy. It's a very creamy polish which requires 2 coats to turn…Read more

Essie Lilacism Nail Polish

Essie Lilacism Nail Polish

Essie makes some of the best polishes especially when it comes to creamy finishes. I was on the hunt for a perfect lilac nail polish and it came to a spot when I spotted this one! Essie Lilacism is that perfect lilac which, as the name suggests,  isn't too pink nor too blue. The formula is great, it glides on easily. It does not  apply streakily or form bubbles in any way. The consistency is very creamy but not too thick or runny. I did find that this isn't last on me as…Read more

Essie Aruba Blue

I'm a nail polish junkie. Every weekend, I have my sacred "me time" routine of watching a movie or something and painting my nails. This week, I'm wearing Essie's Aruba Blue on my nails. Its a gorgeous deep blue with greenish navy undertones. It also has blue microshimmer. Its not royal blue or electric blue like China Glaze Frostbite; more towards navy. Its quite opaque. But you do need 2 coats. It's has a nice sheen to it, even without a topcoat. Adding one just makes it super glossy. It lasts for atleast…Read more
