Chambor Stay-On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Forever Blue

Chambor Stay-On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Forever Blue

Chambor’s Stay-On Waterproof Eyeliner was one I received from a Blisscovered Box  a very long time ago. It’s one of my favourite navy eyeliners! It’s your average pencil eyeliner. The pigmentation is good but you don’t get the complete deal with one stroke, you do need to build it up a bit. I didn’t find this to be the softest eyeliner I’ve used but it is still smooth and you can put it on with relative ease without needing to tug or pull. I however, didn’t find it as smooth to glide on as some of the others I’ve used. The colour is a true navy blue and really lovely. It gives a nice change of colour without being too in your face. It looks...

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Lionfish

I’ve had a big life change in the past week and I’m quite excited about it! I’m a bit sad for the people for I will but I’ve had incredible times with them and I’m anxious for the future. Now that that’s off my chest, let’s talk about the eye liner at hand! Stila’s Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner is one of the best eyeliners I’ve had. It’s incredibly soft and of really good quality and pigmentation. The colour Lionfish is a metallic medium brown which has a touch of bronze. The gold microshimmer is very fine and doesn’t feel rough at all. It’s all nicely packed and there is absolutely no fall out. The colour is...

Maybelline Hyper Glossy Runway Pop Liquid Liner in Tangerine Orange

Hello folks! I’ve been sick for almost an entire week and a real busy time at work and as a result neglected my blog quite a bit this month. but my schedule’s clearing up and I feel well rested and charged! So a few weeks back I got the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Runway Pop Liquid Liner from the PR company. (That is seriously one heck of a long name). It’s a ranged coloured liquid liners and I’ll be reviewing the one in the shade Tangerine Orange! I don’t own anything this bright, it puts all the bright orange lipsticks to shame! It’s a gorgeous true orange colour. It’s more yellow then orange and shows up real nice on the skin. The handle is very...

Milani Easyliner Mechanical Glitter Eye Liner in Precious Silver

Glitter time! A silver liner is something you might seldom use but is a must in your collection! It’s also handy to use one on your inner corner to highlight! This is a really good pencil for those silver smokey eyes or glittery party looks. Milani’s Easyliner are really really good in quality and I prefer retractable pencils to normal ones. That makes this the perfect choice. This one also comes with an erasing sponge on the other side which is very useful. It can also be used for smudging. The pencils are incredibly smooth to apply. Not a lot of tugging required. The size is excellent for precision as well. It’s very pigmented and the fallout is minimal with this one....

Faces Eye Pencil in Teal

Faces Eye Pencil in Teal

It’s my dream to have eye pencils in all colours. It’s not a very practical one because as much as I hate to admit, I rarely use anything other than black or brown. But, 2 months ago, I caved in and bought a “safe” bright colour. Teal is such a lovely shade. I can almost image a gorgeous earthy bronzey look with teal highlights. I think it’s a great colour to wear when you want a clean “just eyeliner” look. It think it’ll look great on any skin tone! I know navy blue is very in this season but this is a great option for a brighter one. When it comes to eye pencils in non-staple shades I don’t like spending too much on it. Even the...

Maybelline Kohl Express Eyeliner in Glam Black

Maybelline Kohl Express Eyeliner in Glam Black

Maybelline’s Kohl Express is a great affordable pencil eye liner. I have it in the colour Glam Black or Noir Black. It’s probably one of the most affordable and good quality pencil you can ask for. Since it’s basically kajal, it’s waterline safe and very soft. It doesn’t harden when not used. The pencil doesn’t break with moderate pressure. It glides on well. You do need to apply more pressure to get a smooth and even application. It’s not waterproof but it doesn’t bleed either. But if you are in the rain, there will be some smudging.  The noir black or glam black is the only black shade available. (I don’t really see the point when...

Mac TechnaKohl Liner Eye-Liner Kajal in Graphblack

Hello folks! I’ve been hit by another wave of “no internet” over the past 10 days. I’m hoping to cover the backlog of posts starting NOW! So first is a review of the absolutely versatile and value for money product I use almost everyday; Mac’s TechnaKohl Liner Eye-Liner Kajal in Graphblack. As you can tell by the excruciatingly long name, it’s an auto pencil eyeliner in black. I’ve used this for almost a year and I can vouch for the amazing formula. It’s always soft and glides on very smoothly. But it also never breaks when you use a bit more pressure. I also like the non pointy and small point. It makes it easier for precise application....

Stila Glitter Liner in Silver Lilac

Stila Glitter Liner in Silver Lilac

The heat is killing me! I wish the monsoons were here already! Everytime I see a speck of a grey cloud, I get my hopes up… I don’t use glitter liners too often but I always pair them with a base since they don’t tend to be very pigmented either. Stila’s Silver Lilac is such a gorgeous shade with a unique mix of lilac, blue and silver glitter. The glitter itself isn’t very coarse and doesn’t feel heavy when applied on the lid. The concentration isn’t dense when applied sparingly. You do need to go over it twice to make it prominent. It glides very easily and then stays put for hours. I had worn this for over 6 hours and there was no fall out or...

Milani EasyLiner for Blue Eyes

After a long work week, it feels good to just laze about in my room and blog!! Hope you well are having a great weekend! Milani’s EasyLiner is a retractable pencil liner. I have it in the colour Blue Eyes which is a cerulean or peacock blue. It’s a bright greenish blue. It’s very very pigmented and cheap. For the quality and money value, you can’t get a better combination than this. It goes on very smoothly. It does transfer and smudge a lot. Generally I prefer smudge-proof eye liners. The liner is retractable which is good, sharpening cosmetics just seems wrong to me, you do end up losing that amount of product! It blends so well!! You could even cover the lid with...

Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner

Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner

I generally find that Benefit is a very overpriced brand with products you can find dupes for. But the liquid liner is a different story (for me). I have a very unsteady hand and using liquid liners scares me. The line becomes crooked, it bleeds, its isn’t too black etc etc. But what I really liked about Benefit’s magic ink liner is that it stayed in place, it lasted long, it looked resonably wet and didn’t dry up into pieces. Along with that, I love the packaging and the long slim handle. It makes a clumsy person like me with applying liquid liners with ease and accuracy. Magic Ink is jet black in colour. When applied, it feels cool, smooth and not very heavy. I has a...
