Chambor’s Stay-On Waterproof Eyeliner was one I received from a Blisscovered Box a very long time ago. It’s one of my favourite navy eyeliners!
It’s your average pencil eyeliner. The pigmentation is good but you don’t get the complete deal with one stroke, you do need to build it up a bit. I didn’t find this to be the softest eyeliner I’ve used but it is still smooth and you can put it on with relative ease without needing to tug or pull. I however, didn’t find it as smooth to glide on as some of the others I’ve used.
The colour is a true navy blue and really lovely. It gives a nice change of colour without being too in your face. It looks...

I’ve had a big life change in the past week and I’m quite excited about it! I’m a bit sad for the people for I will but I’ve had incredible times with them and I’m anxious for the future.
Now that that’s off my chest, let’s talk about the eye liner at hand!
Stila’s Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner is one of the best eyeliners I’ve had. It’s incredibly soft and of really good quality and pigmentation. The colour Lionfish is a metallic medium brown which has a touch of bronze. The gold microshimmer is very fine and doesn’t feel rough at all. It’s all nicely packed and there is absolutely no fall out. The colour is...

Hello folks! I’ve been sick for almost an entire week and a real busy time at work and as a result neglected my blog quite a bit this month. but my schedule’s clearing up and I feel well rested and charged!
So a few weeks back I got the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Runway Pop Liquid Liner from the PR company. (That is seriously one heck of a long name).
It’s a ranged coloured liquid liners and I’ll be reviewing the one in the shade Tangerine Orange!
I don’t own anything this bright, it puts all the bright orange lipsticks to shame! It’s a gorgeous true orange colour. It’s more yellow then orange and shows up real nice on the skin.
The handle is very...

Trax is one of Mac’s unique eye shadows. I’m sure Urban Decay has something comparable but I’m in love with this colour and the sheen.
Trax is a yellow based medium purple but with gold microshimmer. The shimmer is a bit chunkier than usual and not so subtle when you use it. It gives a lovely duochrome sort of effect when you wear it on lids. Part purple, part gold and part browny purple.
It goes on the lid very smoothly. However, this isn’t the most pigmented shade. I think it works far better when you use can eye base or primer underneath. When compared to other good Mac eyeshadows, pigmentation is where this falls short.
The colour blends well. You can use this...

Mac’s eye shadows are some of the best and this one is one of my most used eye shadows as well.
Woodwinked (such an adorable name) is a medium brown with gold microshimmer. The microshimmer is finely milled and the eye shadow is very smooth to apply. This colour is great for crease and well as an overall lid colour if you are going for natural or bronzey looks. When you see it against the light, the gold sheen is really strong but indoors it will appear true to its brown shade.
This is a very easy colour to blend, it’s a good neutralizer if you are using bolder colours like olive greens, teals, purples or deep pinks. For Indian festive looks, it’s a great colour to use as...

I purchased my first Inglot eye shadows 4-5 months back and they are so incredible! It’s like having a cheaper Mac with delivery in India.
414 is a pearl eye shadow in a dark forest green with a dark drown undertone. It has a emerald green sheen to it. It looks so good on brown eyes, it’s the perfect green to make a smokey brown and green look. For special occasions, it’s a beautiful colour to use. I bet this would look amazing on all skintones, especially Indian.
The texture of the eye shadow is very buttery smooth. It’s glides on very smoothly and rarely needs tugging.
It’s very pigmented, and the colour transfers from pan to lid with very good pay off. It...

Glitter time! A silver liner is something you might seldom use but is a must in your collection! It’s also handy to use one on your inner corner to highlight! This is a really good pencil for those silver smokey eyes or glittery party looks.
Milani’s Easyliner are really really good in quality and I prefer retractable pencils to normal ones. That makes this the perfect choice. This one also comes with an erasing sponge on the other side which is very useful. It can also be used for smudging. The pencils are incredibly smooth to apply. Not a lot of tugging required. The size is excellent for precision as well.
It’s very pigmented and the fallout is minimal with this one....

It’s my dream to have eye pencils in all colours. It’s not a very practical one because as much as I hate to admit, I rarely use anything other than black or brown. But, 2 months ago, I caved in and bought a “safe” bright colour.
Teal is such a lovely shade. I can almost image a gorgeous earthy bronzey look with teal highlights. I think it’s a great colour to wear when you want a clean “just eyeliner” look. It think it’ll look great on any skin tone! I know navy blue is very in this season but this is a great option for a brighter one.
When it comes to eye pencils in non-staple shades I don’t like spending too much on it. Even the...

Revlon’s Grow Lusicous Mascara was one I’ve been hearing a lot about. Before I go on to review this, I should probably say more about what my preferences with a mascara are. I don’t like mascara that makes the lashes look blatantly fake; clumpiness, too thick to be real, flakiness etc. I would be happier using fake lashes if I wanted it to look editorial. I prefer one whitch coats the lashes well and they look distinct and really black.
With that said, after having tried a few high end ones I was happy to discover that Revlon was somewhat equally good. With Grow Lusicous I love the formula but I hate the brush and the packaging.
the mascara isn’t thick and gooey...

Nocturnelle is part of Mac’s permanent collection of eye shadows and a lovely winter colour!
It’s a plum coloured eye shadow with pink and gold shimmer with a frost finish. It also casts a violet pink sheen when it catches the light. The eye shadow itself isn’t very dark and perfect colour for fall imo. Depending on the lighitng it can look quite different.
The shimmer is very fine and subtle, there’s no fallout. It’s very pigmented but the colour is much stronger when used with a primer. It goes on very smoothly and doesn’t settle into lines. Very little creasy and it blends really well with other eye shadows.
It stays on for 5-6 hours but with a...

I thought I’d review this since it still seems to be on the market on some websites. On the official Models Own site, this product isn’t mentioned so I think it’s discontinued.
The Duo eyeshadow contains two glitter eye shadows. The Summers Day one has a lilac shade and a minty green or seas green shade, both with silver glitter. I will discuss the shades individually.
Lilac : This is a really pretty colour and quite pigmented. I find the glitter a bit rough and it gets all over the place. The fallout is immense and the only way to curb it to use a good eye shadow base or primer.
Mint Green – It’s a light bluish green with silver shimmer. fallout wise...

I was quite stumped when I saw L’oreal Infaillible eye shadows at first. I think the timing of the product release was quite apt. People were drooling over Giorgio Armani’s eyes to kill and there was nothing remotely similar in the drugstore market. Oh gee, look at me, discussing the politics of cosmetics!
So onto the review. While the green and blue shades look really pretty, I know I won’t use them much. Burning Black, unlike the name is a gorgeous garnet shade. It’s maroon or a darker berry shade. The microshimmer is a nice mix of red and pink. It looks so beautiful. A wine shade smoke eye is a very unique look you can create with this shade and more complex...

If I had to live with just one eye shadow product for the rest of my life, it would be this. I’m sure this is the same for many more fans of this product. Besides the bold and somewhat fitting same the Naked palette seemed to come on at a time when the neutral look was picking up. Either way, very few palettes much the range and quality that you get in the Naked palette. For me, it still is way better than the Naked 2 palette in terms of colours.
The shades range from nude browns to bronze to darker browns and finally, darker greys. I will describe each shade in more detail further but there is good mix of matte and pearl shades. Perhaps the only shade missed is a matte black.
Virgin...

Swimming is part of Mac’s permanent collection of eye shadows. It’s a grassy green with tiny gold shimmer. A lot of the shades online show a very bright yellowish green but in reality it’s more muted and mossy. It isn’t a very bright in your face green, so it’s easier to work with. It looks beautiful when used with with violets and darker colours.
The color pay off is really good. It applies really well with a brush on the lid. When swatched on the hand, it doesn’t show up with the same intensity. It lasts well for 8-9 hours and then starts to fade. It lasts even longer when used with a primer. It blends well and shimmer is smooth too. It doesn’t...

I contemplated a lot about this purchase. It’s way too much for a mascara, ridiculous price. But I had heard so many good things about it. Then I saw a photo of the wand it comes with and I was sold. It’s perfect for my lower lashes and the inner corner upper ones.
Givenchy’s Phenomen’ Eyes comes with a waterproof range and one that’s not. Over here I’m reviewing the waterproof one. I’m almost out of it and I thought I’d review it soon before it dries up.
The colour water black is the only black one available. I get confused when mascaras sell 3-4 different shades of black. Honestly, who can really tell? Anyway, the formula is quite good. It...
