Spring 2015 RTW : Paris Fashion Week : Part Three

Spring 2015 RTW : Paris Fashion Week : Part Three

So this is the final post covering Spring 2015; it's part three (the finale) of Paris Fashion Week and this post is just filled with all the big name fashion houses. I suppose overall, the collections that really stuck with me were The Row, Luisa Beccaria, Etro, Naeem Khan and Erdem. Starting off with Chanel, if you haven't seen it in news already, it was a lovely feminist gesture. But with reference to the actual clothes, I liked that they were simpler silhouettes, relying on colours for the edge. The watercolour print is…Read more
Haul : Japan and Hong Kong Airport

Haul : Japan and Hong Kong Airport

There's a bit of guilt over this haul but I'm trying to push that aside as I write this! So, last month I went on a trip to Japan and China. I did a bit of shopping at Hong Kong airport and more drugstore shopping in Japan. Shiseido has multiple brands under the umbrella and I really wanted to buy them there. A bit of a note about where I shopped in Japan if you're interested. I was at Fort Venus ( in Odaiba) which was next to my hotel. I discovered they…Read more
Spring 2014 RTW : Chloé, John Galliano and Givenchy

Spring 2014 RTW : Chloé, John Galliano and Givenchy

Spring 2014 RTW at Paris Fashion Week : Chloé, John Galliano and Givenchy   Chloé The show had a very earthly vibe with the colours and the simple plain silhouettes. But it was desert chic in a way which I quite liked.     John Galliano I love the colour palette in this collection. The perforated designs and floral cut outs give a very sleek and feminine look. But the gowns are really gorgeous!     Givenchy Wow, I was blown away by this one! I love the draping and play with fabric.…Read more

Wishlist : August 2013

It's that time of the month when I tempt you (and mostly myself) to break the bank and spoil ourselves! Crap, I also realised I forgot to change the 'July Wishlist' to 'August Wishlist'. I hope you'll excuse that! This is what happens when I try to blog on a Sunday morning without my tea.           1. Josie Maran : Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee : Poppy Paradise I read loads about these but my inner child just wants to rub jelly on my cheeks and feel pretty. That's pretty…Read more

So here are the best of make up in 2012!…Read more
Givenchy Phenomen’ Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Water Black

Givenchy Phenomen’ Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Water Black

I contemplated a lot about this purchase. It's way too much for a mascara, ridiculous price. But I had heard so many good things about it. Then I saw a photo of the wand it comes with and I was sold. It's perfect for my lower lashes and the inner corner upper ones. Givenchy's Phenomen' Eyes comes with a waterproof range and one that's not. Over here I'm reviewing the waterproof one. I'm almost out of it and I thought I'd review it soon before it dries up. The colour water black is…Read more

Fall 2012 Couture : Givenchy

Givenchy's collection is the most intriguing couture collection so far. There is so much detailing and braiding in each pieces. But I love the silhouette's. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the red and black kaftan which looks like an ethnic tribal print from afar but it's so dense in details. This is a collection many can draw inspiration from.
