This is a post about how excitement induced by the sight of glitter, can overcome logic and reason. You’ll have to see the photos to know what I mean.
I first came across the Superglass collection on Temptalia’s site. And it was like love at first sight. I remembered seeing these on StrawberryNet and so I lurched for them! It was on discount, I took it as a sign from the universe and bought it promptly in the shades Fab Frenzy and Totally Bang!

Hey guys! I had picked up this lip gloss a few months ago. Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Gloss range is the best even it comes to quality and value for money. I also have the shades Papaya and Rose Gold. Sunset Peach also lives up to the hype!
Sunset Peach in the tube is a light peach with gold and silver shimmer. It’s definitely a sheer lip gloss, not as pigmented as others in the range. It doesn’t transfer too much colour on the lips. For very pigmented lips, unless you just want that light glossy effect, this won’t really impart much colour. Hence this is best used layered over a lipstick if you want to add more shimmer or warm up the colour.

Hello kittens! I was visiting the Mac store for what seemed like the n-th time!! I was hoping they had Crosswires in stock (which they still don’t). Oh well, I’ll try again soon. Anywho, I went in to buy bright lipsticks and came out with Fast Play instead. I have to say, it was better use of my money because this is a lipstick I wore everyday for quite a while.

This winter I had more than one best friend and it was The Body Shop Hemp Lip Conditioner! I actually had two of these. One was in purse which was with me all the time I was out and one was at home.
What I like about this lip balm is that it’s thick and feels like you have petroleum jelly on you without looking gloopy or too shiny. It’s not a thin consistency like the lip butters but thicker. It’s incredibly moisturizing and keeps the dryness away! If you get really dry and irritated lips (especially the edges) like I do, the minute you out this on, you get instant relief!

Once upon a time, I took a plunge into the high end makeup world and fished this out of the pool! I wanted a good and unique coloured lipstick and was very impressed with the Chanel Rogue Allure satin lipstick that everyone was raving about.
I came across the shade Coquette and I fell in love with it. This is possibly the only true pink like shade I own. It looks darker in the tube, but in when worn its a true pink but slightly coral kinda shade. It also had fuchsia microshimmer that it makes it truely unique. So I’m back with makeup reviews for the weekend! Today I’ll be reviewing Mac’s Blankety. It’s a lipstick that’s very popular as a nude and being an amplified cream lipstick, it’s super moisturizing and comfortable to wear.
So last year I was going through a nude lip phase which is when I came across Blankety and purchased it. Now I know for my skintone, the swatches can look a bit scary, when I never put it on so heavily when I do use it. I generally pat it on my lip and that gives me a good nude lip. Hello folks! This will be the last of my Revlon lip butters. This shade is one of the most popular ones, it’s very wearable and suits a lot of skintones as well.
Peach Parfait is a peachy coral colour with dense gold shimmer. The colour is light but it adds a nice warm tint to your lips. People who generally dislike shimmer in lipsticks should stay clear from this as it’s quite a lot and can be very distracting. The shimmer isn’t very subtle and feels rather rough against your lips. Cotton Candy really does look like what the name suggests. It’s a very blue-toned pink with a hint of lilac in it. Maybelline’s newest launch is the Super Stay 14Hr lipstick. It’s supposed to be very pigmented, light and long lasting. I’ll be reviewing the shade Enduring Ruby. It’s always a task for me to find the right shade when I know I’ll be needing a lipstick to last longer. Are you tried of seeing the Revlon lip butter posts? I sure hope not, there are more to come! Today, I’ll be reviewing Cherry Tart. From my lip butter collection this is probably one of my least favourites.
Cherry Tart, as the name suggests, is a cool-toned red. On the tube it’s a really pretty colour. However, it’s one of the least pigmented ones. It’s very sheer and I cannot get it to give an opaque look on the lips even with multiple swatches. Based on your natural lip colour, the colour does change drastically. If you want an orange lippy and not splurge too much or not want something very bold, this is THE shade for you. I’m very shy when it comes to red lipsticks. After finding my perfect cooled toned red (Revlon True Red), I was on the hunt for a darker red . Not a vampy one necessarily, just a darker one.
I stumbled upon Brick Rose on another blog with a review and I fell in love with it. It’s perfect for a medium deep skintone like mine. I think it’s especially beautiful on darker skintones but the quality is unmatched except by a select few.
