April was a very hectic month for me! I quit my old job, fixed up the new one! Towards the last week of April I had more free time though, which was like a mini vacation. I have to say, I didn’t explore much this month but nevertheless there are things I wish to share.

I had quite a strenuous March where there was a lot of internal turmoil regarding some things in my life. But with April everything has cleared up and I’m certainly happier. Not too fond of summers and the intense heat but other than that I’m excited about quite a few things this month!

1. Strut120 – Wow, I wish I was working here! Strut120 is the beauty,fashion website that India needs. I love their shopping section. I’ve discovered so many Indian sites with a niche.
2. The dauphine – Yet another make up blog. But I like her, she’s very humble and I also like her photography style.
3. Society6 – I love their quotes and quirky shopper bags. Lady Gaga fans will find a piece of heaven here.

1. MI6 by Keith Jeffery – I recently picked this up. It’s non fiction and a true account of the ongoings at SIS. Oh, if you’re interested in Cold War spy stories, Cambridge Spies by BBC is a good series to watch.

The monsoons are finally here! I love rain! It’s the perfect time to go trekking or to a hill station. But dewy rainy weather does have its negatives; terrible for hair and makeup. I generally avoid face make up in the rains.
I’ve been loving Gotye’s songs this month. Especially the Somebody that I used to know remix by Tiesto.
