Spring 2015 RTW : Milan Fashion Week : Part One

Milan Fashion Week houses so many big names, it's a delight to watch the runway shows. I very much liked Gucci's show. I'm not a 100% certain if skorts are involved but I love the sheer little dresses with embellishment and the sleek coats. I loved the whimsy aspect of Alberta Ferretti's show with the sheer layers and floral applique, it's not very unique but I'm still very much hung up on that style. Emporio Armani has blues in every possible colour but the separates were second to none. I always have this…Read more

Resort 2015 : Part Two

The resort collections are pouring in! Here are a few more edited down versions of the collections themselves. You can view the previous post on Resort 2015 here. I'm not too enthralled by the collection but this collection scores high on the wearability scale, I do like the darker muted warm colours.     Salvatore Ferragamo It's a very sleek and modern collection. I like the leather piping on the flowing cuts, it adds more structure but still keeps things…Read more

Spring 2014 RTW : Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo and Emilio Pucci

Spring 2014 RTW at Milan Fashion Week : Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo and Emilio Pucci ¬† Missoni There was a new direction for the staple Missoni stripes. This time they were more subtle in the silhouette of the birds and waves, the necklines and in the arrangement of colours. I love the first skirt with the slit and the print.   Salvatore Ferragamo I'm not particularly fond of python prints (fake or real), or any snake print for that matter. It's 100% a result of my¬†Ophidiophobia. That said, I do like the asymmetric pleats…Read more
