Spring 2015 RTW : London Fashion Week : Part One

Time for another fashion week post! Here are some of the collections from London Fashion Week Spring 2015. I'm pretty biased when it comes to Marchesa though. I'm in love with the opening outfit, a silhouette that only th model can pull off but the embroidery is gorgeous. If you're not over the holographic trend like me, have no fear, Markus Lupfer's collection has gorgeous metallic holographic outfits in lime, hot pink and my favourite silver/blue. I typically love Julien Macdonald collection. much like Elie Saab, I know what to expect and I…Read more

Spring 2014 RTW : Preen, Mulberry and Temperley London

Spring 2014 RTW at London Fashion Week : Preen, Mulberry and Temperley London   Preen It's  a very colourful and graphic collection with the digital prints. It looks very modern. The zig-zag hems are a new addition that add more structure to the pieces. I love the full printed dresses in this collection, real statement pieces.   Mulberry Mulberry's collection fared well in it's comfort zone with the proportions and prints. Fall 2013 RTW : Julien MacDonald, Mark Fast and Mulberry

In one of my concluding posts on London Fashion Week, I will focus on collections by Julien MacDonald, Mark Fast and Mulberry. Julien MacDonald Julien MacDonald's collection is evidently meant for parties, celebrations and other such occasions. The silhouettes are fitted or they flow beautifully with the multitude of strings. I liked the latter half  of the collections with the sheer on the side gowns and dresses. The crystal leaf like dress in blue was very striking as well. I also loved the bright yellow lace dress.   Mark Fast You could say…Read more
Fall 2012 RTW Mulberry

Fall 2012 RTW Mulberry

In my opinion, this wasn't a stellar show. I clothes and prints were average and it seemed all over the place. It seems lacklustre compared to the previous seasons. The bags will no doubt be a hit but I'm not too impressed with the clothes. The colourful splat print doesn't look unique or expensive (unlike the price tag). The silhouettes were simple with pencil skirts and large coats. Fall 2012 RTW Mulberry       Image Credit : Style.com | Entire CollectionRead more
