OPI The World Is Not Enough Nail Polish

OPI The World Is Not Enough Nail Polish

I feel like I've already spoken about this polish many times, but it was probably in favourites. I've loved this polish ever since I bought it, it definitely deserves it's own post! OPI The World Is Not Enough came out in the Skyfall collection (which is a pretty good collection anyway). It's OPI's microshimmer foil like formula that I really like, similar to Ink, Warm and Fozzie. It's actually a lot like a cool toned version of Warm and Fozzie (which is more bronze). The World Is Not Enough is a grey taupe kind…Read more
February 2015 Favourites

February 2015 Favourites

My idea of getting through the work midweek is making plans for the weekend! It's all decided, I'm going to be cooped up in my room watching the rest of House of Cards. All I want is Robin Wright's wardrobe! Meanwhile, you can take a peek at what I've been loving the past month. This is going to be a long favourites post! I think it's the first one for 2015. Let's just jump in!   01. Guerlain Gloss D'enfer Maxi Shine Lip Gloss in Candy Strip :: I haven't reviewed this gloss yet…Read more
Essie Splash of Grenadine Nail Polish

Essie Splash of Grenadine Nail Polish

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a great start to the week! I have a Sephora Pune update at the end of the post but for now let's try to focus on this gorgeous spring appropriate nail polish! Essie Splash of Grenadine is such a difficult colour to describe. Pinky purple? Lavender pink? Very very cool toned light pink? I'm going to settle for #D384C4. It's also hard to photograph exactly which is why I have it below in all possible natural light settings. Maybe we can all just agree that it's pretty.…Read more
China Glaze Water You Waiting For Nail Polish

China Glaze Water You Waiting For Nail Polish

Hey guys! It's been a fun weekend so far! I saw The Imitation Game, I'm planning my Goa trip and to top it off, Man City lost which means Chelsea are in the clear! :D I got to do the fun part of unboxing this weekend, organizing my closet and makeup. I finally have a good amount of space where I can lay things out the way I've always wanted to. I cannot tell you, the amount of time spent in research and self reflection to finally draw up a plan of how I…Read more
Essie On A Silver Platter Nail Polish

Essie On A Silver Platter Nail Polish

Hello there! I basically went missing from the internet for the past few days. I was out of Pune for 3 days and also had my birthday on Sunday (the 4th), which kept me busy. Overall it was lovely, had loads of cake, met up with friends and a nice romantic dinner. My boyfriend got me something from one of my wishlists! Probably the only time he visits the blog! :p So yea, I'm 26 now. Should be looking into anti-aging stuff? Any changes you did in your routine once you crossed that '25'…Read more
Best of Makeup 2014!

Best of Makeup 2014!

Hope everyone had lovely holidays! I think half my classmates got married just this weekend. I'm a very passive facebook user, logged in after a long time and the wedding photos were overwhelming! It was lovely though. :) Time to get teary eyed about all my favourites this year now! It took a long time to create this post, mainly because I went through my entire collection to pick things out. Ended up with 30 lipsticks that I narrowed down to around 10. Emotional heart-breaking decisions all over the place! I'm also positive that I've missed out…Read more
Zoya Caitlin Nail Polish

Zoya Caitlin Nail Polish

I know, I know, you're tired of reading about Zoyas on this blog. But I've been determined to review them all this year! I think I'm almost there, here's the handy Zoya Swatch Post. Zoya Caitlin is a really pretty periwinkle blue with silver shimmer running through it. The shimmer also shows up well and evenly on the nail, it's a very winter shade. In the not-so-large spectrum of periwinkle blues, this one is slightly muted while China Glaze Secret Periwinkle is just a little bit brighter. I often find that shades like…Read more
China Glaze Tempest Nail Polish

China Glaze Tempest Nail Polish

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend! I had a bit of a closet purge, sorting out clothes for donation. Attacking the shoe closet next! You might already know, I have a thing for blurple nail polishes. I think I've found one with the perfect balance. Is it purple? Is it blue? I can't make up my mind and I love it! China Glaze Tempest is a pearlescent nail polish with a purple base and fine blue shimmer. The shimmer is a bit duochrome and shifts the blue tone from dark…Read more
Zoya Perrie Nail Polish

Zoya Perrie Nail Polish

This review is long overdue. I've mentioned this polish in ton's of favourites and it's a perfect "radiant orchid" shade. 2014 is almost over so not that it matters, but it really is the perfect Pantone shade. Zoya Perrie is a creme polish in a lavender-pink inbetween colour. It's hard to pick a side, that makes it really pretty. It's a little bit darker in my comparison swatches but hopefully you get a good idea of the colour. Essie Lilacism is a very light lilac, Perrie is a pinker version of Butter London Molly…Read more
Butter London Nail Polish in No More Waity Kaity

Butter London Nail Polish in No More Waity Kaity

Mid-week crisis is upon me and I'm lagging behind with my posts. I'm hoping things will stabilize but next weekend and I'll be ahead of the curve rather than desperately trying to keep up with my schedule. A very odd nail polish colour for you here. Might not be everyone's favourite but it's certainly unique! Butter London No More Waity Kaity has the unusual combination of lilac glitter in a grey creme base. Yes, that exactly. The formula isn't very opaque as I hoped it would be. It takes 3-4 sheer coats to…Read more
