Summer Skincare Update

Summer Skincare Update

Settle in for a long skincare post! I wrote extensively about my skincare routine a while back. It's been a few months since there are couple of new products I'm playing with. I thought I'd go over my entire routine in brief. I'm on the fence about a lot of them but they seem to be working. Warning, there's also a Pretty Little Liars rant at the end. The Bathroom Situation All my cleansing, toning, face mask products are dutifully lined up on the glass shelf in my bathroom. They're usually not so equidistant.…Read more

My Skincare Routine | AM

Welcome to the three part series on my skincare routine! The last one I did was in 2013. I wanted to do one last year but I was never quite happy with my overall routine. Part Two is up here! I guess I should start off with explaining about my skin type! Skip ahead if you've heard this a million times already. I basically have dry skin, more so in winters. It's normal during the monsoons when it's humid. I don't really get oily but if it's a really hot summer day I…Read more
Goa Beauty Essentials

Goa Beauty Essentials

It's time for my annual pilgrimage to Goa. Four days of sun, sand, cheap booze and even cheaper petrol! The weather right now is as pleasant as it can get, it's going to be perfect! Every year we go to a different beach and this time we'll be exploring Morjim and Ashwem. Let me know your favourite Goa haunts! I'm excited! This time I thought I'd put up an 'Essentials' post, also a good excuse to discuss travel minis. I pretty much carry a similar amount of things when I travel there (or anywhere else).…Read more
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 50+

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 50+

For the longest time, sunscreen (or rather it's application) has always been something I knew I should use but never did. Even in school my skin could react to extreme exposure and those were telling signs that I needed to take care of my skin. I guess my knowledge and interest about such things improved when I started reading beauty blogs and ultimately I could no longer put it off. I had used a few sunscreens before this and I hated the experience. It made me look shiny, or there was a whitecast,…Read more
Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub

Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub

A couple months back I was breaking out a lot and really needed a good scrub and cleansing product for daily use. I generally don't break out much but that bout really freaked me out. After browsing the products in Dorabjee's I decided to get Neutrogena's Deep Clean Blackheda Eliminating Daily Scrub. I had previously used the Deep Clean face wash found it to be very effective. I'd glad they have a 40g version, it's easier to try out products and then buy them. This doesn't last long though. You apply a small…Read more

Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture

Neutrogena's Oil free moisture face cream is what I currently use as my day cream. It's very light and gets absorbed quickly. It's not sticky or oily either hence you end up getting moisturized and a bit dewy. I love the packaging of this, it's also very easy to travel with. It comes with a pump which works really well. It's doesn't pour in excess or get blocked. The pump can be locked too which makes this travel friendly. For those who have pores, it claims that doesn't clog pores. If you have sensitive…Read more
March 2012 Favourites

March 2012 Favourites

It's the time of the month! I mean, to err... talk about my favourites! The products mentioned below are not only the most used this month but also what I would reach out for the most on occasion. Onto the list! But a pretty picture first. ; 01. Concealer : MAC : Moisture Select Concealer : NW35 I have panda eyes. Although, that doesn't make me look cute! To be very honest, if I completely cover them with heavy concealer, it just looks really unnatural. I think that to look a bit natural,…Read more
