I initially bought this book after attending a session by the author at Jaipur Literature Festival last year. I was very intrigued about the main character in this book. It's a non fiction account trying to demystify this Mr. Jacob who was mainly a diamond merchant in the pre Independence period. This book was a very odd purchase for me and first of it's kind! Time Reborn by Lee Smolin is a non fiction book explaining time as an important part of physics and how it's the key to unravelling many questions.
