Zoya Perrie Nail Polish

Zoya Perrie Nail Polish

This review is long overdue. I've mentioned this polish in ton's of favourites and it's a perfect "radiant orchid" shade. 2014 is almost over so not that it matters, but it really is the perfect Pantone shade. Zoya Perrie is a creme polish in a lavender-pink inbetween colour. It's hard to pick a side, that makes it really pretty. It's a little bit darker in my comparison swatches but hopefully you get a good idea of the colour. Essie Lilacism is a very light lilac, Perrie is a pinker version of Butter London Molly…Read more
Zoya Alegra Nail Polish

Zoya Alegra Nail Polish

Happy Diwali to everyone! Hope you are all gorging on food and getting dolled up in the evenings! Here's a really pretty pink polish, Zoya Alegra. It's one of the formulas that will make you fall in love with Zoya, much like Valerie. It's a deep, almost red on the nails kind of pink. But it has that fuchsia tone to it. It also has a ton of micro shimmer ranging from silver to fuchsia, it also appears a bit gold  or more red toned due to the iridescence. It's quite captivating in person! Colourwise…Read more
Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Butter London Nail Polish in Rosie Lee

Okay. Stop reading this, scroll down and look at the pictures, then come back up. Amazing right? It's just so SO darn pretty! My love for Butter London polishes grew exponentially after applying this polish. Rosie Lee is a glitter polish in a deep rose coppery gold colour and metallic. The glitter is small in size and very dense in a clear base. One layer is sheer but you get opaque coverage with 2-3 coats. The layers are thin in consistency so they also dry quickly. This is how all glitter polishes should…Read more
Butter London Nail Polish in Toff

Butter London Nail Polish in Toff

A while back I got my hands on a bunch of Butter London nail polishes. They look stunning and so are the formulas. Today I'm reviewing Butter London Toff which is a creme deep plumy brown. There is some dustiness to the shade which gives it a really sophisticated look. I really love the shade; it's also a darker office appropriate neutral. The quality is amazing as well. The creme polish is opaque in one coat, though you might prefer 2 coats depending on how big your nail bed is. The consistency is…Read more

Top 10 Nail Polishes for Spring

To be very honest, I don't always follow the seasonal trends when it comes to nail polish. My mood and what catches my eye pretty much dictates what I'm wearing at the moment. But for those who do, here are my top 10 picks for spring and summer! I like blues, greens and this year, the radiant orchid shade as well. Let's get started!       01. H&M Newlyweds - This is a lovely sheer polish which has a milky white base and gold shimmer densely scattered. It looks very understated and…Read more

Formula X for Sephora Nail Polish in Standout

Hey guys! This week is just not ending! I want Saturday to be here already! Here is another pretty nail polish with a less an impressive formula. It's another one of the Formula X for Sephora ones. Standout is from the New Neutrals range and is a creamy and pearlescent finish. Standout is a lovely light nude shade. I wouldn't call this a baby pink, but it is a very pale warm pink. It's the perfect manicure colour! I'm surprised I don't have anything like, its a very dupeable shade. It's a cream…Read more
Just Swatches : Zoya Nail Polishes

Just Swatches : Zoya Nail Polishes

Hello! I'm back with another Just Swatches post! This time it's my beloved Zoya nail polishes! I think Valerie and Robyn were among the first ones I bought, fell in love with the formula and you can see what happened then! If I had to pick favourites from this lot it would be Valerie, Alegra, Trixie and now even Perrie. This years Pantone Colour of the year is Radiant Orchid and I think Perrie is an exact match. It's smack in the middle of that purple pink range, gorgeous colour! Kristin - It's…Read more
Nails Inc Special Effects Sprinkles Nail Polish in Sweets Way

Nails Inc Special Effects Sprinkles Nail Polish in Sweets Way

The word sprinkles just makes me feel happy. Over cakes, over cupcakes, over ice cream. Heck, I'd just sell icing and sprinkles if I ever opened a shop! That's pretty much what this nail polish feels like. Your nails looks like they're covered in sprinkles and you just want to eat them! This isn't the most mature nail polish, I'll admit that. But it's cute nonetheless. Nails Inc Special Effects Sprinkles is a range of glittery polishes. Although "sprinkles" might lead you to believe that it's chunky or 3d, it's not, just round…Read more
Chambor Cashmere Nail Polish

Chambor Cashmere Nail Polish

Muted pinks and purples are another favourite of mine. I feel like this pink is great to wear for office as well. It's the Chambor nail polish in the shade Cashmere. The name Cashmere has a nice ring to it and the colour feels very luxe as well. It's creme polish in a muted dusty pink colour. In the spectrum of rosy pinks this one is warm and medium toned, not too light nor too dark. I'm in love with this colour! Looks very feminine and sophisticated. I feel like it would suit…Read more
