Spring 2015 RTW : London Fashion Week : Part Two

Hey guys! So, this is the final post covering London Fashion Week Spring 2015. A lot of favourites here including Burberry and Erdem. Read more about my favourites below or just enjoy scrolling through the collections. Erdem always has a way of introducing florals in an interesting way with very sleek and lady like silhouettes. This time the rainforest green and navy made a beautiful palette. Burberry Prorsum also made it's mark with the sheer layers and map prints. There also seemed a few remixed outfits from previous trends but overall it was…Read more
Fall 2014 RTW : Preen, Marios Schwab and Topshop Unique

Fall 2014 RTW : Preen, Marios Schwab and Topshop Unique

Pretty fall collections from Preen, Marios Schwab and Topshop at London Fashion Week!   Preen With it's second collection Preen Line in tow, Preen is proving to be quite the label. Another Star Wars reference! This time dedicated solely to Darth Vader and again not entirely convincing like the Rodarte one. I'm not sure if its endorsement for the new movie or the motive, but either way I'm not too happy with the result. I'd rather wear a t-shirt from Cafe Press. That aside, the rest of the collection is actually quite good…Read more

Spring 2014 RTW : Preen, Mulberry and Temperley London

Spring 2014 RTW at London Fashion Week : Preen, Mulberry and Temperley London   Preen It's  a very colourful and graphic collection with the digital prints. It looks very modern. The zig-zag hems are a new addition that add more structure to the pieces. I love the full printed dresses in this collection, real statement pieces.   Mulberry Mulberry's collection fared well in it's comfort zone with the proportions and prints. The bright orange pop of colour was refreshing as were the grey and orange print separates. The two-pocket clutch, I feel, will…Read more
Fall 2013 RTW : Mary Katrantzou, Preen and Jonathan Saunders

Fall 2013 RTW : Mary Katrantzou, Preen and Jonathan Saunders

At London Fashion Week, things took quite a turn as Mary Katrantzou explored darker colours while Preen and Jonathan Saunders had beautiful collections as well. Mary Katrantzou Inspired by paintings, Mary Katronatzou's collection this season honed in the beauty of still art while exploring printed pictures and shadows in silhouettes. The very opening piece is like art with the lines, noise, blurring in between and has so much dimension to it. While using these urban and country landscapes as the main theme, the silhouettes are what speak the loudest. I love the hint…Read more

Resort 2013 : Preen

Preen has a distinct vision for the collection. The heavily represented floral theme showcases that. The large floral prints are certainly something not done too often this season. The outfits are lean and sharp. The prints have been clashed against each other but still look great in the end. I like the striped black and white trousers, in the same line is the sheer with blouse with the striped skirt. The orange peplum top with beadwork looks very rich.                                 Image Credit…Read more
