Happy Diwali folks! I’ve been to Mussoorie was the past week. It’s such a lovely place. I’m glad I went now when there aren’t too many tourists. It must be absolutely packed in summers!
So moving on, I’m reviewing Armani Code (for women) today. I bought this in Paris a few years ago and I’ve been using it quite sparingly since. It’s definitely a scent for special occasions or night outs. I find it too dominating (if you get what I mean) or heavy for everyday wear.
I find the scent is very heavy and floral but not in a summery kind of way. It definitely feels very rich for night time. I find it similar to No 5 in that respect. It has the base notes of orange blossom and honey and top notes include bitter orange. You feel like you’re in a wild flower garden at full moon, or that’s what comes to my mind.
Top Notes : Arican Bitter Orange, Sweet Italian Orange
Heart Notes : Tunisian Orange Blossom Absolute, Jasmine Sambac
Base Notes : Orange Blossom, Vanilla and a drop of honey
So reviewing perfumes is a bit tedious. Obviously, you need to wear it on yourself to get a feel of whether it’s right for you. But I hope I’ve described it to some extent! It wears for a long time, the entire day really. I’ve worn it for 8+ hours and the scent wasn’t as strong as in the beginning. Later on, it kinda sunk in and lingered for a long time.
The packaging here is gorgeous! It’s slim oblique shape bottle with the lace and gradient print. It feels very solid and heavy in your hand. It looks very sleek.
