Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Brun Bohéme

If there’s one thing I miss while travelling, it’s proper tea! Tea bags just don’t do it me… Does anyone else feel this way?

I’m settling in nicely now though. Back at work, all unpacked, I’ve just started loading in all the photos from the trip.

This is quick review on Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Brun Bohéme. The colour here is key, a really nice brick red, rusty brown-red kind of colour. It looks muted and not too brown. Rouge Edition is quite an old range but at the time there weren’t too many demi-matte finishes which I like about this.

These are very pigmented and creamy lipsticks. Unfortunately they smell like powdery floral mess but if you can get past it, the finish and staying power is quite good.

It’s comfortable on the lip but not very lightweight. It’s not something you’d want to wear over dry lips because it isn’t very moisturising either. It is however, a long lasting lipstick which easily stays on for 6-7 hours.

You get 3.5g of product for Rs. 775. A lot of websites also say it’s Rs. 995, so there might have been a price increase?

Pretty color, but I think the smell would put me off. I mean, it is right there under your nose!

I miss proper tea a lot when travelling, too. Loose tea, favourably green or white, is a staple in my everyday drinking, and replacing that with a tea bag labelled “English Breakfast” is not fun.

I can kinda ignore smells as long as it’s not too off putting.

Truly, whenever I’m on my way back home, it’s tea I think of. I’m probably too addicted at this point.

I am high-end snob when it comes to lipsticks! Except for the Revlon Colorburst range I have never really liked anything from the budget brands and thats mostly because of the smell! This looks like a really pretty color though!

Love Revlon lipsticks too, they’re definitely the best from the budget lot.

You wear these shades so well! On me it’s probably not going to be this nice :)

OK so tea. To be honest I use tea bags most of the time (what a barbarian) because they’re easier… I feel the need to hide my face now LOL

    • Xuvious

Lol, no need for tea shame! It depends, because sometimes you’re used to drinking tea with just water culturally. But I’m used to having tea with milk and tons of sugar, so it’s harder for me to adjust. :p
