Hello there! I can barely bring myself to do anything this Sunday and I have a million things on my list. Going to start ticking them off now, starting with blog stuff.
Also thank you for the birthday wishes and your input on skincare. I’m not making any drastic changes to my routine but I guess I’m just going to be more observant about the changes. That involves a lot of time staring at myself in the mirror which won’t be too hard. 😉
I had previously reviewed the shade Orange Tease from the Lakme Absolute Lip Tint range, a more pigmented orange colour. This one is sheer.
Lakme Absolute Lip Tint in Candy Kiss is a more sheer peachy orange. I somehow like this more than Orange Tease because it’s even on the lips and more wearable. It gives a nice peachy tint and really smoothes over the lips. I feel YSL Corail in Touch is similar when swatched but it looks more pink on the lips eventually. Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti is also a good cheaper alternative but it is a more yellow toned orange.
It doesn’t settle into lines or feel too heavy. As far as sheer lipsticks go this ticks all the boxes and I like the glossy finish. It’s rather moisturising as well but the wear time is on the lower side. On me it lasts about 2-3 hours after which it loses its sheen and starts to fade. Of course, any eating/drinking will make it fade more rapidly.
I like the retractable packaging but I hate the cap. It doesn’t fit properly and it’s so easy to lose! You get 2g of product for Rs. 800 which is a bit low on the g/Rs ratio but if it’s the colour you’re after, it’s a great choice.
